Happy holidays, my friends!
The holiday season is in full swing and at my house, we are getting ready for Christmas. That means gifts for my 4 kids all wrapped under the tree, and this year, I'm making my OWN wrapping paper and gift bags!
And I wanted to show you how I do it.
Making your own wrapping paper or decorating your own gift bags gives such a special extra touch to your holiday gifts.
I also think it can help slow down the craziness of opening presents because it encourages people (especially the kids!) to take the time to appreciate the present from the outside, before they even open it!
Here's all you need to give your gifts that extra personal touch:
I found these Kraft paper bags on Amazon that come in a set of 3 different sizes. I also ordered this Artisto white paint pen (also on Amazon, you can find all of the products I love for this here!)
They also sell this Kraft paper on a roll, and even as greeting cards!
I'll give you a link to everything I used at the end of this post.
But first I want to show you how pretty these come out.
Ready??
I am in love with these!!
I had so much fun drawing little gingerbread houses and adding all these pretty tiny details.
And these pens are also so great for lettering, which means you can write whatever holiday message you like on a gift bag or you can skip the gift tag and write your to and from details right on the wrapping.
The white contrasts with the Kraft paper so perfectly and you can accent these with some fun holiday colored ribbons and bows.
Ok I'm going to link all of my favorites below.
I got all of these from Amazon so they should be easy to get in plenty of time to do your Christmas wrapping!
I don't typically share links to lettering products from places other than my site but this was too perfect not to share for the holidays!

I'm loving doing this for gifts I'm giving this year, but I'm also really excited to let my kids give it a try.
How cute for them to decorate the wrapping for the gifts they give this year??
I know they are going to love this and will be extra proud to give their gifts when they have a personal touch.
Will you try making your own gift bags?
Or maybe decorating some custom holiday wrapping paper with your kids this year?
I hope you have a blast!
Xoxo -Lisa
